Broadmoor Real Estate
Bordered by Blundell Rd, Steveston Highway, Gilbert Rd, and No 4 Rd, Broadmoor is a long-established area of Richmond with a wide range of detached homes, townhouses and apartments. Broadmoor subdivisions were developed during 1956-1969 and consist of family-oriented neighbourhoods and detached homes on large lots. Condos and townhomes are situated conveniently along transportation routes. The Broadmoor area contains the Sunnymede Subdivision, developed between 1959-1964, which at the time was considered a more exclusive, prestigious area than neighbouring subdivisions, larger, mostly two-storey full basement homes with wide roads and landscaping to the curb. Many of these homes remain and have been updated and renovated over the years but new homes are also slowly replacing the originals.
The easily accessible neighbourhood Broadmoor Shopping Centre and Richlea Square provide the area with many amenities, including large grocery store chain, medical clinic, financial institutions, barber shop, pharmacy, restaurants, and a neighbourhood pub. Good transportation, schools, and access to the Arthur Laing and Oak Street Bridges to Vancouver and Hwy 99 South, make Broadmoor a central and handy area.
