Brighouse Real Estate

Bordered east to west by Garden City and Gilbert Road, the river and Alderbridge Way in the north and Granville to the south, the downtown core and major shopping district of Richmond is named after Samuel Brighouse, an early settler.  In 1864 he purchased nearly 700 acres in what is now downtown Richmond where he raised thoroughbreds and cattle.  The old city hall, Minoru Park and Richmond Centre Mall were built on the land he previously owned.  A horse racetrack was built on his property as well (now Lansdowne Mall).  Samuel Brighouse was one of the petitioners to incorporate Richmond as a municipality.

Brighouse Real Estate offers a vast choice of attached housing, with properties conveniently located near great restaurants, shops, library and public transport including the Canada Line.  Hotel investment property, entry-level condos and luxury penthouse high rise units all share the Brighouse lifestyle.  Very desirable in its convenient access to YVR and to the Oak and Arthur Laing Bridges, Brighouse abounds with services.   The area offers extensive amenities in the neighbourhood including grand-scale shopping malls, Minoru arenas, aquatic centre, fitness, a running track, fields and seniors' activity centre.  The city's hospital, Richmond General, is located along Gilbert and Westminster Highway.
