With almost 3 times more sales than 2008, "The Monds" recorded an average increase in home values of approximately 7 to 10% higher than 2008 depending on the type of property that was being sold.
The start of 2009 like any other area saw the home values decline, however, the last part of the year brought a "friendsy" of purchaser and builders trying to cash in before land values increased any further and the HST gets set in place.
"The Monds" was also able to beat the peak of the markt. Compared with 2007 statistics, "The Monds" increased sale volumes by over 40% and home values by apporximately 17%.
