About Seafair
Seafair is an area going through many transformations. Construction of single family homes started in the early 1960's with split level ranchers, bungalows and in the 1970's with a few up and down 2 family dwelling homes. All lots in Seafair are fairly substantial in size with the averages being between 6,000 to 8,000 square feet. These large single family lots have made Seafair a prime location for developers as they are buying out property and building million dollar homes. Seafair also consist of very popular 2 townhouse developments that are located along the West Richmond Dyke Trails. Seafair is a family friendly neighbourhood and home to great French and English Schools such as Dixon, Gilmore Elementary and a Montessori Pre-School.
Location
Situated in West Richmond, Between Blundell Road (South) and Williams Road (North); West of No 1 Road to the water. 20 minutes drive to the Vancouver International Airport and 10 minutes drive to downtown Richmond including Richmond Centre Mall and Richmond Hospital. Seafair is also a short 10 to 15 minute walk to the Village of Steveston (few minutes drive).
