Have you ever dreamed of having your own ‘place to call home’ at a resort location? How about ownership in Whistler Blackcombe, SKI Magazine’s Reader’s Choice #1 Overall Ski Resort in North America? A unit like 301C-2020 London Lane in Whistler, BC is definitely worth the look!
Many purchasers are learning about and selecting a quarter-share condo ownership in a property. Quarter share means just what it sounds like; you become a 25% owner of a property. You have access to the property 12 or 13 weeks in the year. Once every four years you would have the prime week of Christmas and New Years.
There are lots of advantages to owning a quarter-share, price being one of them with the opportunity for your investment to appreciate. Live in luxury for one quarter the cost! There is also the opportunity for you to create revenue by putting weeks you are not using the unit for personal use into the rental pool. All the benefits and amenities are yours to enjoy and the management company takes care of the administration.
The costs to maintain the suite are covered in the monthly maintenance fees and these usually include, insurance, heat, hydro, air condition, housekeeping and management. The fees may seem a bit higher than you might expect but they also include the property taxes. The suite is usually stocked with all the comforts of home such as dishes, small appliances, TVs and linens.
The difference between Quarter-share and time share is that there is a deed to your purchase; with a timeshare you are purchasing the right to use a property, for a set time each year. As most timeshares are leased, they are considered a depreciating asset over time. With Quarter-share you own 25% of a piece of real estate and the rental income it may produce. And, each quarter share has a separate title, so you can sell at anytime you choose.

I’m excited about this listing! Beautiful building by renowned Adera Development Corp. 326-6033 Katsura Street is a 2 bedroom and spacious den unit, tastefully decorated throughout. Fireplace, extra-large balcony and gas stove are only a few of the many features. Close to all city centre amenities.
Richmond’s McLennan North area has made a huge transformation over the past decade and builders of the new condos and townhomes here have made extra effort to mix housing and nature and to provide amenities such as shopping and transit within a 10 minute walk. McLennan North is in the heart of a busy city and close to major routes and shopping malls, yet the enjoyment of nature and peace and tranquility is the main objective in the planning of McLennan North.
