I’ve just listed a gorgeous suite at 2802-1238 Richards Street in Vancouver’s most desired district. Grand living in a 2500 sq ft beautiful penthouse and 18 ft walls of windows. Spectacular views of the cityscape, ocean and Northshore mountains. Situated in Yaletown with a selection of the city’s best restuarants, entertainment venues and shopping within easy walking distance. The second storey mezzanine separates the master suite and allows for a private, personal space. A home in the heart of one of the world’s most beautiful cities!
The Workshop at 1220 E. Pender is an impressive example of construction identified as ‘blank canvas’ suites, allowing the owner plenty of opportunity for personal inspiration and interior design. Behind each door is a unique living space, adapted to an owner’s specific vision and need.
The 3 storey steel frame and concrete building consists of 43 industrial/commercial live/work units. 18 foot ceilings afford spaciousness and creativity in a bright and open area. These unique spaces provide the opportunity to live and work under one roof. In-suite laundry and secure underground parking are included. Pets are welcome too.
The Workshop is located in the city’s neighbourhood of Strathcona, a sub-neighbourhood of Mount Pleasant East, an area experiencing positive growth while maintaining the tight-knit community of former times. Convenient to downtown, Stanley Park and historic Chinatown, authentic and popular restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Mount Pleasant East Real Estate offers houses, duplexes, condos and a selecton of lofts, for those who may want to live and work under one roof. The Workshop is a great example.
I have listed 2802-1238 Richards Street, Vancouver. Vistas of Vancouver, Mountains and Ocean from 18 foot Floor to ceiling windows. 2 floors of luxury. Gorgeous flooring, master separated on second floor by open gallery, 2 balconies, 2 parking. More info…
Located in Yaletown, Vancouver’s most sought-after downtown district. Since Expo 86, Yaletown has been reborn into hub of restaurants, trendy shops and prime real estate. Stroll to a hockey game or concert at Rogers Arena or BC Place. Minutes to the downtown business district. It’s no wonder that many young proffesionals are chosing to purchase Yaletown Real Estate to live, work and play.
Strathcona is the oldest neighbourhood in Vancouver. Originally known as the East End, the area quickly grew as a community built around Hastings Mill, forging out east and south from the mill. A mixture of industry and housing has been the mainstay of Strathcona.
The Strathcona of today consists of all the essentials that make a tight-knit and successful neighbourhood: multi-use development, new construction stands beside heritage buildings, good densities, and, most importantly, corner grocery stores and local shops, allowing for meeting places and connection with fellow residents and shop owners. One of Vancouver’s increasingly popular districts, Strathcona Real estate includes detached homes, lofts, half duplexes, townhouses and condos. Next to historic Chinatown and within walking distance to downtown, this lively, emerging area is definitely worth a look!
At the live auction and other events held at the Royal LePage National Sales Conference in Vancouver last month, an incredible $100,000 was raised for the very valuable Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. The fundraising at the Conference was an incredible success due to the generous donations, bids and contributions provided by the Royal LePage agents and other professionals attending the conference.
As Canada’s largest public foundation dedicated exclusively to support women’s shelters and violence prevention programs, the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation helps 30,000 women and children each year. Events such as auctions, garage sales and local fundraisers have provided the organization more than $14 million in total.
The Shelter Foundation is my charity of choice. I make a donation with each home I sell. If you’d like to make your own donation, or learn more about this vital and very necessary organization, please contact Michael Lepore.
It’s time for jack o’ lanterns and trick or treating in and around MetroVancouver this weekend to the 31st.
I will be in Richmond this weekend with my wife and one year old daughter, as the Steveston Merchants Association host the Steveston Trick or Treat from 3-5 pm. Come join us for some fun and community participation. See how many Scarecrows you see in the store windows, as part of the Annual Steveston Scarecrow Crawl. Check out all the fantastic sights and sounds of Steveston Village.
There is plenty more to do this weekend, let’s hope the weather cooperates!
Fright Nights at the PNE – A Vancouver Tradition! Playland becomes a thrill fest with a number of ‘gravely’ serious haunted houses, themed rides and actors roaming the venue. Be brave and have some fun! Don’t get ‘spooked’!
Hallowe’en Ghost Train in Stanley Park. The miniature railway is transformed into a family-friendly Hallowe’en themed train ride and seasonal displays. Free Parking! Train ticket includes Haunted Castle, crafts, pumpkin carving, a costume contest, or face painting by donation. Check the link for times and dates. There are some afternoon rides for the wee ones.
I also may check out the fireworks on Hallowe’en night here in Richmond. Check the City Events page for fireworks start times at South Arm Community Park, Hugh Boyd Community Park and McLean Neighbourhood Park. Minoru Park is hosting a Fireworks Festival, with fire jugglers, music, clowns and of course, fireworks, running from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm.
Have a safe yet spine-chilling Hallowe’en!

I’ve just listed a fabulous property at 8532 Lighthouse Way, Vancouver BC
I’m pleased to present a beautiful 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom townhome for sale west of Kerr Street in Fraser Lands. River views, tranquility, spacious floor plan in a tranquil setting.
This area of Vancouver’s Fraserview is a picturesque riverfront neighbourhood! South of Marine Drive, it’s an oasis of peace and serenity. Stroll along the river, relax in the park or ride your bike on a specified bikeway.
The first homes of this area were built in the mid-90’s and is now an established residential community. Exciting plans and development are underway just east of here along the riverbank. A sustainable community is in the works, formerly called East Fraserlands but now designated “River District” in fabulous Fraserview.
Newly listed, a beautiful one bedroom and den suite at 2102-867 Hamilton Street, Vancouver BC. Gorgeous Vancouver views from this brick and concrete highrise.
Great amenities in the building and even more at your doorstep! With this building on the edge of Yaletown, this location provides the absolute best live, work and play lifestyle available in one of the world’s most livable cities. The downtown area of Vancouver is without a doubt a fabulous neighbourhood offering parks, restaurants, theatres, sports venues, shopping, bike routes and convenient transit all the while situated on the peninsula of Vancouver that also includes numerous sandy beaches and the world-famous Stanley Park. It’s definitely worth the look.
