Remember to Remember

At 11 am Friday, November 11th, please stop and take a moment to honour the men and women who have risked or lost their lives for our freedom. We remember the sacrifices made by those that fought in the major wars of the last century and those who continue to serve our country during times of war, conflict and peace. Ceremonies are held throughout Metro Vancouver on Friday morning. The freedom we have in Canada, that most of us take for granted, is ours due to the people we honour today. Remember.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
Lest we forget.

Many of us will remember family who served in past wars; many of us will honour family who continue to serve. Thank you for taking the time to remind us.
