It's A Good Time To Buy in Vancouver 

According to the latest figures released by the Canadian Real Estate Association, residential sales in Metro Vancouver dropped 55% while prices dropped almost 4% since the same time last year.

The drop in home sales and prices means that fewer people are listing their homes.  Many with investment properties in the condo market have taken their units off the market and have turned to renting the units instead.

While buyers may have less Vancouver properties to choose from, many have also lost confidence in the market.  Much of this is due to the economic crisis in the United States.

In actuality, now is a great time to purchase a home.  Of course, one reason is because you do buy and sell in the same market, but also because many of those with homes for sale right now are looking for a clean, quick sale.
