Richmond BC: A Great Place to Call Home
Richmond is made up of 17 islands, located on the estuary of the Fraser River. This city has all the perks of island life, all the ammenities of a city, and is an easy 15 minute drive to metro-Vancouver.
Richmond provides home buyers with good value for their money. While some perceive it to be a far away suburb of Vancouver, Richmond is in close proximity to downtown, is home to the Vancouver International Airport, and is surrounded by the beauty of BC's coastline and river banks.
Active and healthy living has played an important role in the development of the city. A wonderful and scenic network of walking trails provide endless outdoor opportunities to explore and discover the area. In fact, Richmond has been named "The Healthiest City in Canada", according to a study published by Canadian Living. According to that same study, those living in Richmond may be happier, wealthier, and wiser than their Canadian friends.
